Samsung today officially entered the gaming laptop market with the launch of it’s new Samsung Notebook Odyssey laptop.Available in 17.3-inch and 15.6-inch models, the Notebook Odyssey sports Intel’s latest 7th Generation Core i7 processors.
The 15.6-inch Notebook Odyssey has a full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display.Under the hood, is a NVIDIA GTX1050 graphics card, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 256GB PCIE SSD + 1TB HDD dual storage.As for ports, the notebook offers 1 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0, HDMI, LAN, 3-in1 slot, HP & Mic Combo.There’s also a customizable LED backlit keyboard.The 43Wh battery on the laptop should last about eight hours according to Samsung.
The 17.6-inch model features the same full-HD display seen on its smaller sibling but comes with Up to 64GB of DDR Memory Door, Up to 512GB PCIE SSD + 1TB HDD, Dual SSD + HDD, has Type-C (Thunderbolt3), 4 x USB 3.0, HDMI, LAN, 3-in1 slot, Mic and has a 93Wh battery.The GPU for the 17-inch model hasn’t been announced yet, but it’ll hopefully be an Nvidia 1070 or 1080.
