After weeks of leaks and rumors, Alcatel on Tuesday officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone running Windows 10 Mobile.The Alcatel Idol 4S will exclusively available at T-Mobile stores starting next week.
The Idol 4S also supports Windows 10 features including Continuum, Cortana, and Windows Hello.It is also the first Windows smartphone to support VR.

The Alcatel Idol 4S flaunts a 5.5-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels ) AMOLED display and is powered by a 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB RAM.It comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage, which can also be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD.A fingerprint reader sits below the camera allows you to login easily and more securely with Windows Hello.
In the camera department, the smartphone sports a 21-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX230 sensor, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and dual tone flash.Up front, there’s an 8-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash, 84-degree wide angle lens.Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and USB Type-C.The handset is powered by a 3,000mAh that is said to give up to 20 hours of talk time.There are also dual-firing stereo speakers.
The Windows 10 powered Alcatel Idol 4S is priced at $469.99 and will go on sale starting November 10.
Alcatel is offering Idol 4S buyers with a free 45-day trial for Hulu Plus, an additional 30-day trial for Groove Music and a free copy of the Windows 10 Mobile game Halo: Spartan Assault.Each IDOL 4S also comes packaged with virtual reality goggles included as part of the in-box bundle.
