After teasing the device for a while, Motorola has finally launched the G5 Plus in India.The handset was first unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona last month.It features an all-metal design which is built using diamond-cut high-grade aluminum 6000 and also comes with an all day battery life.

The Moto G5 Plus sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with a pixel density of 424ppi.Under the hood, is a 2.0GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU.It comes in two variants – the base variant has 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage and the top version features 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage.Both the variants also have support for microSD for further storage expansion.
In the optics department, the G5 Plus is equipped with a 12-megapixel dual-pixel rear sensor with ƒ/1.7 aperture, 4K Ultra HD video capture (30 fps), and dual LED flash, while the selfie department is handled by a 5-megapixel front shooter with OmniVision OV5695 sensor, and f/2.2 aperture.
As for connectivity, the Moto G5 Plus features dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE (Cat 6), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and 3.5mm headset jack.Other notable features include water repellent nano-coating and Front-ported loud speaker.
It is powered by a slightly larger 3,000 mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Moto G5 Plus will be available in the same Lunar Gray or Fine Gold color option.The base variant with 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM is priced at Rs 14,999, while the 4GB RAM + 32GB storage will cost Rs 16,999.It’ll be available starting midnight exclusively on Flipkart.
