As expected, HTC on Thursday launched its first water-resistant aluminum unibody smartphone – the HTC 10 Evo India.The handset is the global variant of company’s Bolt smartphone which was announced back in November last year in the US.

The HTC 10 evo has a 5.5-inch Quad-HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.Under the hood is a 2.0Ghz Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.On the back, there’s a 16-megapixel camera with ƒ/2.0 aperture, PDAF, Optical Image Stabilization, 4K video recording with Hi-Res audio and Dual LED flash.Up front, there’s an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with ƒ/2.4 aperture, and Full HD 1080p video recording.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and USB Type-C.The handset is also IP57 certified, making it water, splash, and dust resistant.It is powered by a 3,200mAh battery with Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 2.0 fast charging technology.The smartphone also ditches the regular 3.5mm audio jack for USB Type-C audio.
The HTC 10 Evo will be offered in Cast Iron and Pearl Gold color option.Priced at Rs 48,990, the handset is now available to pre-order via HTC’s official e-store.
