Along with Galaxy Note 7, Samsung also launched a new line-up of wearable namely Gear Fit2, Gear IconX And Gear VR at its New Delhi event on Thursday.
The new Gear VR headset which was unveiled alongside the Note 7 earlier this month features a dedicated home button and also provides up to 101-degree field of view.It also sports USB Type-C and Micro USB ports.The Gear VR is priced at Rs 7,290 and will go on sale from the first week of September.
The Gear IconX which went on sale in South Korea last month has finally made its way into the Indian market.The Gear IconX truly wireless earbuds comes with 4GB of internal storage and connects over Bluetooth 4.1.It also has a built-in heart-rate monitor and a 47mAh battery underneath, which the company claims is good enough to provide up to 90 minutes of music playback.The Gear IconX is priced at Rs 13,490 and will from the end of August in India.
Apart from launching the Gear VR and Gear IconX, the company also announced the Gear Fit2 in India.The successor to Gear Fit, the Gear Fit2 packs a 1.5-inch Curved Super AMOLED display with 216×432 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor along with 512MB of RAM.It comes with 4GB of internal storage and is backed by a 200mAh battery.Based on Tizen OS, it can track sleep, heart rate, activity and has also got built-in GPS.
The IP68 certified Gear Fit2 is priced at Rs 13,990 and will also be available from the end of August in India.
