After months of leaks and rumours, the Taiwanese tech giant HTC has finally unveiled it’s latest flagship smartphone, the HTC 10.The new HTC 10 borrows its design from it’s predecessor, the M9.
The HTC 10 has 5.2-inch quad HD (1,440 x 2,560px) Super LCD 5 display with a pixel density of 564ppi that HTC says displays 30 percent more color than it’s predecessor.It is powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM.The phone comes in 32GB and 64GB internal storage options, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card.Inside is a 3,000mAh battery that can be charged up to 50% in 30 minutes thanks to Quick Charge 3.0.It also features a fingerprint sensor and HTC’s BoomSound Hi-Fi edition.
In the camera department, the HTC 10 features a 12-Ultrapixel 2 camera with f/1.8 aperture with OIS and Laser Auto Focus.The camera can also capture 4K video with 24-bit high-resolution audio.The HTC 10 features a 5MP ( f/1.8) front-facing camera with optical image stabilization.
In terms of connectivity the HTC 10 Offers 4G LTE support, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC.The phone runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 wrapped under Sense UI out-of-the-box.
Priced at $699, the HTC 10 will be available sometime in May in Glacier Silver and Carbon Grey colour variants.
